Biography

Bruno van Wijngaarden received his Master’s degree in electrical engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology in 1986. After graduating he worked as a system engineer at VanderlandeĀ Industries designing material handling systems for customer projects. From 1991 till 2000 he worked as a system engineer and project manager at Xerox on a range of projects automating supply chain and warehouse processes. In 2000 he returned to Vanderlande working as a system architect on market analysis, product development
(Adapto), knowledge management (company Wikipedia) and customer project system design support. He is currently working on the development of mobile infrastructure material handling systems (self-driving vehicles, robots) and on the development of a warehousing product platform based on domain-driven design and microservice architecture.
